Drudge calling out the media hitmen

I'm not sure I like it being advertised, but it is what it is. The party establishement doesn't like him and will say whatever they need to to undermine him and at least make him a pariah on second choice votes in a caucus setting. No one thought Obama would win before he won Iowa, either.

Can somebody please explain how Drudge putting these stories front and center is a good thing? I've heard this twice now, and I genuinely don't understand.

I have a feeling that ignoring something or someone only works when the act of ignoring is also ignored. I think instructing people to ignore something is a last ditch and futile effort to continue ignoring something. Like in the Wizard of Oz, when Oz instructs Dorothy and the others to ignore the man behind the curtain. At that point it's just blatant and cannot continue.

Interesting point.

Isn't Ron polling higher nationally now than Huckabee was? And isn't Ron polling MUCH better against Obama than can be explained if he 'can't win'?

We know this is true, but there is no mainstream media impartially interested in just reporting the truth.

Ding Ding Ding... Ladies & Gentlemen, R U Ready To Jumble?

In Our corner: People, Country, & Constitution

In their corner: Party, Establishment Cronyism, & Fascist State

I hear what you're saying...I'm just not sure the average reader will see it that way. I think the average reader just reads a story that says voting for RP is a bad idea.

That's the way I read it too. Having this is on the front page of Drudge is not helpful to the campaign.

Yep, and remember the way the huckster got treated? Fox and the rest of the msm practically laid out the red carpet for the man.

You know what we need? A nice little handout for IA caucus goers that shows all the polls/evidence that Paul has the BEST chance of beating Obama.
We need to get those into the IA caucus goers hands NOW.

“It would have a very damaging effect because I don’t think he could be elected president and both Iowa and national Republicans wouldn’t think he represents the will of voters.”

Rick Perry, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrinch, Michelle Bachman, etc. don't represent the will of me. Hey MSM if the votes are there, then obviously the candidate represents the will of the voter. Step out of the way and let the voting process (if it isn't as corrupt as I think it has become) do it's job.

“They’ll all go back and vote for Obama,” predicted Beach.

Question for everyone, is the above quote correct? Is the voter able to switch back prior to the Presidential? Not that I think it matters, because the GOP sheep brain washed by the establishment will vote for whomever the nominee is (even when it is Paul).

I remember when Fox News replayed his Merry Christmas ad over and over. Had analysts commenting on it, as well as analysts commenting on the analysts who analyzed it.

He is saying they'll vote for Obama in the general election. No, it isn't correct.

Was that cross floating in the background??? It's so mysterious...we must discuss it over and over. Lol...thanks for reminding me about that, Jerkface.

this.

maybe with a note about the two polls that showed only 4% of Iowans THOUGHT Ron could best beat Obama at the same time another poll asking who people would ACTUALLY vote for in the general showed Ron Paul was the only candidate to tie Obama, and Romney and Gingrich trailed badly.

They are trying to pretend Dems voting for Ron means it is an 'operation chaos', when in fact civil libertarian and anti war Dems are simply REALLY unhappy with Obama.

Yup. Can only vote in one party's primary - but you can vote for whoever you want in the general election.

The actual quote from the governor:

“People are going to look at who comes in second and who comes in third,” said Gov. Terry Branstad. “If [Mitt] Romney comes in a strong second, it definitely helps him going into New Hampshire and the other states.”

The key to winning is to deny that strong second/third place finish. We need Ron Paul leading by a lot in Iowa.

We need to keep calling!

I think we need to push this response to people about all the negative attacks.
Ask them why they think the establishment and the media is going crazy about a possible Ron Paul win.

We can't refute all the articles but that ONE question helps the reader refute all the accusations all by themselves. And it will stick with them for the next accusation.
