I read that article a few minutes ago. I have never seen such disdain for the American voter as what the establishment GOP are coming up with. They care FAR more about party than the country. Sad that I used to subscribe to their way of thinking.

Can somebody please explain how Drudge putting these stories front and center is a good thing? I've heard this twice now, and I genuinely don't understand.

I don't know if it is good or not, but if people had any doubt about a black out...

He's calling them out.

I'm sure Iowans will love to see that their governor essentially said that their vote doesn't count.

Because every American in this country finds it offensive to see the media or party officials subverting the will of the people in elections.

Imagine if Roger Ailes was quoted as saying "don't let Ron Paul win." Think of this headline Drudge published as a mini-version of that.

It's good for the same reason that Jon Stewart highlighting the biased media coverage is good for us.

Drudge is publishing it to expose them, not to spread the anti-RP message.

I don't get it either. That article is not good for us at all. They are saying Ron will only win with the help of democrats, even though in one of the recent polls, he leads with Republicans also. Ugghh.

I hear what you're saying...I'm just not sure the average reader will see it that way. I think the average reader just reads a story that says voting for RP is a bad idea.

They're playing a dangerous game here. If they're willing to trash their own state's voters for choosing Ron Paul they're setting themselves up for blowback.

The governor's point would be valid if for example a fringe candidate like Santorum were leading in the Iowa polls. Paul however is polling a strong second in NH and is in the top tier nearly every where else where serious polling is being done.

Will Ron Paul Kill the Caucuses?
LOL

The alarms are sounding in Iowa.

Conservatives and Republican elites in the state are divided over who to support for the GOP nomination, but they almost uniformly express concern over the prospect that Ron Paul and his army of activist supporters may capture the state’s 2012 nominating contest — an outcome many fear would do irreparable harm to the future role of the first-in-the-nation caucuses.

Well, maybe they'll learn something about what it is then, and start supporting Ron Paul. ;)

They won't give a second thought to trashing the Iowa caucuses in order to preserve the system.
