In the days right after Ames Ron was speaking in calm, fluid sentences, avoiding the high-pitched mannerisms, and generally sounding very Presidential. Many of us thought he had been taking sound advice from someone, perhaps Doug Wead. This recent interview seems to indicate that he may not be continuing with the program...

Maybe it's better after all if Dr. Paul simply does his own thing and sounds original and sincere. Rather than trying to centrally plan his delivery. But I liked what I was hearing a few weeks back.

Bad microphone/audio setup. Unclear audio signal. I believe that both of them stumble on words because there was a possible audio delay or output to input difference causing Ron Paul to talk loud or stumble.

Ah, interesting and savvy assessment. Thank you.

Im a pro with audio, and I know how bad it can be with delay in the audio. Its very very difficult to have a conversation when the delay is slapping back and forth while you are trying to hear yourself, or audio cutting in and out. I think the MSM was tampering with his audio levels to F him up.

You need to listen to these two recent ones:

It's very early in the AM and Ron sounds like Barry White in the beginning

These are both excellent. Very even delivery by Congressman Paul. He did sound groggy through the entirety of the second interview, but it was still excellent. Now we know what Carole hears in the early morning!

Ron Paul is treated the same way a prosecutor treats a hostile witness only worse because he doesn't have the benefit of having deliberately antagonistic and leading questions rephrased on objection.

Because Ron Paul tends to assume the listening public is more capable of making the connections needed to totally understand his responses than they actually are, in my opinion, he needs to be prepared with regular in-depth practice sessions in order to keep a succinct yet substantive response, that is immediately understandable to the uninitiated and simultaneously allays the fears whipped up by the critics, fresh and at the ready.

Wish RP would remove all the "ANDs" plus "AHs" in his dialog. Usway too frequent in his interviews/answers.
