because the whole point of the episode is making fun of how people tend to assign meanings and metaphors that do not exist to anything the read or see. The kids write a nasty book full of vulgarity and the country loves it and everyone claims its so deep and full of meaning when it wasn't. Some person will say it is clearly an assault on the far right and another will say are you kidding thats the most conservative book ever written. etc.
