Why all the negativity in this thread? No one, no endorsement or political group or wealthy benefactor is going to hand us an elected Ron Paul. That is up to US
Did a gov endorsement give Willard SC? Did the endorsement of a candidate (Huntsman) sew things up? Nope. Phone calls, donations and delegates ALL trump endorsements.
That having been said, each endorsement helps. The media has built up a "glass wall" trying to convince people that Paul and his ideas are "fringe" or "extreme", the corporate media tries to paint our foundations as a ceiling rather than the bedrock we're standing on. They know what they're doing trying to smother Pauls message and candidacy. They've been pushing a stigmatism about association with Paul so that even some of those who do agree with him are shying away or keeping quite. Each endorsement takes a brick out of that 'glass wall' and gets Paul closer to a breakthrough, if or when that wall comes down we will see a whole new ballgame. But we don't need that shift to pull of a nomination and even with that change we'd still need to be active on the phones, on the streets, via donations and as delegates.
Take a breath and focus, Delegates, Donations, Phone Calls. <<--- That's how we win, the lack of those is how we'd lose. Endorsements are nice, they help, but they're second string, complaining about them not being 'big enough' isn't a worth while use of our time.
my two cents, am I wrong?
ps ~ In Maine with the low turn out each vote is actually worth noting, and if someone is well known enough to sway say 5-6 friends it's not insignificant.
