Brownback, Romney rally anti-abortion activists

While each of the Republican presidential candidates was invited to the Right to Life forum at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center, the only other hopeful to attend was Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas. Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., was to speak but didn't arrive as scheduled.

Paul, a physician who has delivered 4,000 babies, said imposition of Roe v. Wade reflected deterioration of the nation's moral fiber. New leaders are needed to convince Americans to follow a moral compass that doesn't point to abortion, he said.

"We should get rid of Roe v. Wade," he said. "Just changing the law won't be enough."
