Dr. Drew is Voting for Ron Paul!

I was listening to the most recent Adam Carolla Podcast that had Dr. Drew on it. Not only does it sound like he's voting for Ron, but It sounds like he may have in '08 as well. Adam mentioned that he'd like to as well. Here's the MP3. The Ron Paul part is about 20 seconds long & it starts at 1hr, 19min, 15 seconds:

This is a nationally syndicated show. In KC, they put it on one of the most popular stations every night.

Personally I find it annoying when Talk invades places I turn to for music.

But this would be a national platform to a new audience!

I believe I heard him criticizing and speaking negatively of Paul a few months back. He could have changed his mind, though.

No, I'm pretty sure Dr. Drew maintains that drug abuse requires medical treatment and not prison sentences. I know he is 100% gung ho for legalizing cannabis (although he does not believe it is a good substance to (ab)use.)

I don't know that I've ever heard Adam bag on Ron Paul directly, but he has referred essentially to his foreign policy views and disagrees with them to a large extent (as in, he thinks Muslims are bad and maybe we should bomb them, but we he is also aware of the military industrial complex and thinks we are probably not using our resources efficiently, at best)

1) HUGE Adam Carolla fan here.. Listening to him since I was in Middle School (probably inappropriate for my age )...
2) Adam just plain makes sense, I would say he's definitely a Libertarian whether he realizes it or not. Perhaps he's mislead with the foreign policy, but the vast majority of Americans do not, and likely cannot understand it entirely.
3) His Podcast is the #1 podcast in THE WORLD -- Guinness Book of World Records approved
4) I've been listening to this specific podcast for the past few days (I don't listen to an hour+ at a time, haha...) So I'll be getting to this point today
