Actually, it makes perfect sense.

They have to crack down on the black-market soda. Otherwise, there'd be heavy competition from legitimate retailers who follow the strict orders of the law. That could be potentially catastrophic to the food industry!

Enter: Soda SWAT.

Your kids selling 32oz lemonade about to get the double-time smack-down with the long arm of the law.

Even though it's stupid for Bloomberg to ban this, as it reflects him being a parent to bad children in his cesspool city, we as libertarians shouldn't be drinking or eating this shit anyway.
