That is correct. As an old school hard rocker I view him as a pussy and his anti-hero crap as a copout. He blew his brains out because he had stomach pains from constipation. happens when you do alot of heroin. He left behind a baby to deal with this act of the father and the mother is no prize either. His detonation was the beginnng of loser rock and roll. You know..your girlfriend sux, you want to swim out in the ocean and die, your car has no muscle, you aren't a rugged individual, be very afraid..blah blah blah. Not the same rock I grew up with and became a huge fan of. Nor the sharply intellectual, classics grounded, critical of politics metal such as Iron Maiden or Judas Priest. Rap grew in ascendancy. Cocaine took over the streets and mansions..America became ego centered and consumer addicted. Street crime rose. They had successfully turned the movement that stopped them in the 60's and 70's on its head.
