Don't Forget, Before Iowa Comes -- Wyoming!

Try to get in touch with these people: http://freestatewyoming.org/. There's a forum over there but gets almost no traffic. But if you make a post about this, it might attract more members chiming in. It's basically a small group of people/movers that opted out of the FSP-NH project but they all tend to be pro-Paul.

Yep, that's a great forum. I lurk there all the time and have considered making the Wyoming move. Wouldn't say it gets no traffic, but probably not as much as NH-centered FSP boards do.

Exactly. All the counties are like that, I can almost guarantee. That's how we got in last time. The vacancies are appointed by the county GOP chair.

Is there any way for out of state RP supporters to promote RP in Wyoming? What are the pros/cons of emailing/writing to current precinct captains from out of state?

I don't know! Yeah, I'm here, but people are basically the same everywhere, and I'm no political expert, so you probably can answer a lot better than me. I don't see how it could hurt, though!

You know what might really work? A lot of these guys are pretty anti-government already, especially since Obama's in power, so everybody hates Obama and the Federal Government. Literally -- everyone in Wyoming. They also are rah-rah for war and differ from us on a number of issues, but they're small gov't men, or at least like to think of themselves as such. Cheering on the Tea Party, probably on Armey's FreedomWorks mailing list, etc. So make them feel like they're a part of our movement, like it was maybe their idea all along kind of thing, and they may become allies. Anyway, my idea: does C4L have a monthly magazine or something? YAL does, I know. Anyway, I think giving them complimentary subscriptions to something like that would go a long way. No big explanation needed, the things just start showing up in their P.O Box. They'll probably read them, if the cover stories are all about how horrible national health care and Obama and big gov't are, tea parties and gun rights and nullification and the mounting debt. Because like I say, many are into that stuff already. Ron Paul will be mentioned favorably in the magazine, so this will associate him with all these positive things and all the ideas they agree with. After a year of reading this magazine, many will either be on board or much less antagonistic.

OK, I just looked and I don't see a C4L magazine. Maybe just send them the YAL one then, although they are all old fogies, old fogies like seeing young folks doing stuff they agree with, right? Picking up the torch? Or maybe Republic Magazine (found it here: http://www.campaignforliberty.com/blog.php?view=32494 ). Or Liberty Magazine, though that might be too libertarian. Or send them all, if people are brimming with money and interest in the project.

I will definitely look into this. I am asking about bulk pricing for the YAL magazine, and if I can get about 50-100 for relatively cheap I will buy more each month and spread them to each county's precinct captains.
