Don't do this: Ron Paul Supporter Accuses Beck of Shilling for Israel, Defends Bin Laden

I didn't hear this caller... When I got in my pick-up I heard Beck 'praising' an earlier Pro-Paul caller and then went on to talk about this fellow. I do have to say that Beck did say this...(Paraphrase)..."This guy doesn't represent the majority of Paul supporters. They usually have their facts right like our first caller. But, people like this one are what gives him a bad name."

That said Beck is a P.O.S. and I'd be surprised if the second caller wasn't a paid shill in case he ever was gotten the best by a caller that could articulate Paul's policies.

Yep, false flag smears to make us look bad are not out of the question. They will do anything.. all we can do is disavow them publicly.

You're joking right? I see people like this all the time, I went to the debate in MI in Nov (my first personal experience with an RP crowd) lot's of them kept screaming "NWO", "Zionist Bankers", heck, even you yourself just mentioned "false flag", don't get me wrong, am I saying the media would be above such a thing, no, but really they don't have to, just go youtube Ron Paul and any conspiracy buzz word you want, there is tons of people in the camp who spout that stuff nonstop and I wish Ron would speak out against them, they have free speech obviously, but Ron should make it clear he wants no part of that crowd, they are costing us more votes then they will ever get us.

I posted a response to the story
You people that continually find every possible way to try to paint Paul as a kook or fringe are pretty pathetic.Id respect you more if you at least tried to have a adult conversation of why you disagree with his policy’s, But since you cant win the argument with reason you resort to acting like a child and try , any way you can to make Paul look bad.The insinuation that since a couple callers are extreme that all his supporters must be ,makes you look desperate. There is no purpose in having this story than to try to create a false stereo type of Ron Paul.Disagree with him on his policies, but dont resort to child tactics since you cant have a adult debate.

It's just about futile to get into a controversial discussion w Beck. Not because you might know more than him, but because it will probably turn into a one against three discussion (w his two sidekicks). One of his sidekicks went on about Paul being hypocritical when it came to earmarks. The Becker did not at all give Ron's stance in an accurate way.

I heard both supporters live. I knew it was coming. When you have a radio program as large as Beck, I doubt it is hard to find someone like that second caller. I don't see how you can hold Ron Paul responsible for his supporters. What candidate would make progress spending all his time attacking his followers?

If you call Beck, you should know his clown gang is going to make funny voices and make fun of you while you are talking. That way Beck can get away with pretending to be polite while his clowns trash you. It's almost a good cop, bad cop routine.

Ron Paul should not have to answer for any of his supporters, period. No other candidate is expected to account for the views of every supporter they have, Ron shouldn't be either.
Exactly. I'm glad someone has finally pointed out this clear double standard.

Why aren't we constantly seeing stories in the media about how this Mitt Romney supporter or that Newt supporter thinks we should "nuke all the Arabs"? It's not like yahoos who think that way are in short supply.

BTW, maybe I'm pouring gasoline on a fire here, but I have to ask: Was the caller really all that wrong?

Does Glenn Beck not sound like a shill for Israel? Does he not sound like he's being paid by AIPAC? Come, now. Of course he does.

There are quite a few issues on which my views differ from those of Ahmadinejad. But is he actually crazy? I see no indication of that.

As for Osama Bin Laden, his attacks on random innocent people (assuming he personally was truly responsible) were wrong. The caller's attempt to justify 9/11 is where his real mistake lies. But OBL was provoked by US foreign policy, which is undeniably responsible for the deaths of far more innocent people than Osama ever could have killed.

Two ways to look at this situation:

1. The guy is an idiot, but the screeners thought it would be a good way to promote Glenn's agenda.

2. The call was a set up.

I wouldn't be surprised with the latter.

yea thats the crappy the the crazy conspiracy theorist are the ones crazy enough to wait on a phone for 40 min to talk to these bozos. just stop listening and boycott them.

OK....I got to admit..I'm Tom from Florida. But give me a break...I was drankin'!

Not really.....lol

I see many different ideas and perspectives here, and some I don't always personally agree with. But I don't care. It is everyone's God given right to do, feel, and say as they will. That said, I don't care if you think aliens live in your rectum, plotting to take over other people's minds through your gaseous expulsions, no one with a single brain cell should be making calls with BS like this to NATIONALLY broadcasted media outlets in the middle of an ELECTION!

I fully agree it is just as possible it was a orchestrated call. I also acknowledge it is very possible some dipshit who needs a good slap across the mouth did it.

I've noticed that roaming the internet since finding Paul, I've seen many folks who don't support Paul as much as trying to further their agenda of getting their conspiracy theories out into the mainstream. Do they support Paul? They do, some more or less than others, but it comes across that they've found a "mainstream" Presidential candidate they can cling to and help them spew their messages and get it more into the mainstream. This is just an observation but I'm not sure how accurate or true it is.

As for us being "smarter than that" I beg to differ.

I've unfortunately seen "look at his last name" or "see his name" far too many times in regards to authors, news articles, etc.

Congratulations if you're trying to have the mental capacity of Eric Cartman.

Do you people realize how many fanatical anti Paul people there are? More over, if you are a regular poster on any political forums or anything of that nature you know how low they'll sink to smear him. I have no doubt in my mind that the caller wasn't a legitimate Ron Paul supporter. He was probably a neo-con or a government worker or something.

There's nothing you can do about stuff like this. If it makes you feel any better throw down a drink, call up a show, tell them you're a Santorum supporter and start advocating for starting WWIII to force the return of the messiah. Maybe you'll feel better after they call you crazy.

At least it'll be justified for once.

I've never liked the whole meme of "such and such foreign leader is crazy". What is crazy about having a big ego and hating other groups of people? That's a pretty common human behavior we've seen for thousands of years. It seems like the media throws around the crazy label to convince the public to go to war against a foreign nation.
