Don't despair - WE HAVE A PLAN B!

I also agree that as many passionate supporters should get involved in running for congressional office in your district - no matter WHAT the outcome of this election. Start at the state level if you have to. Why did Ron Paul stay in congress for so many years? He understands that congress *should* be the group running the country. As president, yes, he can give that power back to congress. But if congress is full of neo-cons & dems during his presidency, it will take a long time for anything to get done. We need to set up a plan for the next few years to infiltrate congress, running on Dr. Paul's principles. Think of the Minute Men! We can also be ready at a moment's notice to seize the opportunity to make a difference in our country - including bombarding our own congressmen & women with letters demanding they vote via constitutional principles - before, during, & after a Ron Paul Presidency!!

Ron Paul Minute Men - UNITE!

This is an excellent post! Ron Paul's supporters are the most passionate.

Ron Paul knows that the way to win is to get the delegate vote, and this is what we are going to do, is become delegates. This is why Ron Paul will stay the race, and does not care if he wins states. No one is going to garner 50% of the delegates votes. This means there will be a second vote, and Ron Paul's supporters will be there to make sure he wins. I know I am going to try to become a delegate.

The other candidate's supporters will take the time to go vote, but they are not going to take the time to become delegates.

So Huckabee takes Iowa, and most likely South Carolina. McCain with NH. Romney sure to pick up some states somewhere. Maybe Benito takes Florida. Paul came just shy of taking Wyoming, and Nevada seems like a good place for him. In short...nobody's running away with this. We'll probably have a brokered convention.

If nobody takes over 50% of the delegates in the primaries, the delegates get to vote for whoever they feel like voting for, and if they vote Paul he takes it even if he got 1% in the primaries.

That means: it's not about the moneybombs, or the online polls, or signwaves, or the media. Not anymore. It's about going to your precinct meetings, district meetings, however it works in your state, and getting Ron Paul delegates to the National Convention. IF WE CAN WIN ALL THOSE STRAW POLLS WE CAN DO THIS TOO.

My local meetup had a meeting last night with a Republican precinct chair. Participation is down all across our state. We can take this.

But we won't do it if we piss and moan and go back to WoW.

So suck it up. This is politics. It's a long dirty game. We're all tired, we've given to money bombs till it hurt, written letters, stood on street corners, all that. But this is not the time to give up. We can win zero states, and walk away with the whole thing if we show up in force at the Republican Party meetings.

Get organized, make absolutely sure you get out the vote to those meetings, and get it done. We can sleep in November.
ABSOLUTELY AGREE !!!! This election is the Closest to a brokered convention in like 70 years DELEGATES are where its at !
We need to strategize on the states that are open Vs Winner take all
and this needs to be sticky and bumped !!!!!!!

This is actually Plan A that everyone should be doing every single day. TALK TO YOUR NEIGHBORS, ASK THEM TO VOTE FOR RON PAUL at the PRIMARY and become a delegate.

Go for the small states

Didn't know about the 5-state rule, thanks.

Sounds like we should focus a lot of effort on a few small states (maybe starting with "Alaska, Montana, Idaho, North and South Dakota").

The other campaigns will be fighting it out in the big states. Our warchest against their dregs should easily win us the small states we need.

Of course, we really really have to get lots of delegates...because another poster is right, they'll probably gang up on us at the Convention.

But unless we think we can somehow win over half in the primaries, we have to do that anyway.

Ron paul has a HUGE chance to get the nomination IF we get delagates to the convention. Not enough delagates = no chance to win. Doesn't matter how many states RP wins or loses. Doesn't matter what the polls say or how much money we raise. Dennis is right, delagates to the convention is the ONLY thing that counts!RP could lose every state bad and STILL win the nomination!

Please keep bumping this issue to the top! This should be the main focus of the RP grassroots now instead of trying to win all the states

Dennis that first posted here is right! We have to shift our grassroots strategy away from trying to win every state, to instead get delagates to the convention. This WILL be a brokered convention, which means RON PAUL would stand a much better chance of winning the nomination if we get delegates there!!!

Plan B is to turn this thing around pronto, with surprisingly strong showings in Michigan and Nevada. Make it happen.

This campaign of education of America has to continue, we should let campaign workout best electioneering strategy or suggest one ourselves. There is no despair.

Ya...sue the bastards. Nothing matters now if the votes are not counted. There is no dispair there is only anger.

The campaign to educate America about voting fraud has begun

The grassroots has already shifted in the direction to exposing voter fraud.

Lead, follow or get out of the way
