I don't even know for a fact that he is indeed up for re-election this year. He was appointed by the governator in 2006, and I believe that they hold office for 6 years, then must be re-elected to remain on the bench. That would make this year the year of his re-election, but I can't find any info about that. If in fact he is NOT up for re-election this year, I'm not sure what can be done about removing him from the bench. I just found this current civil case against him, btw:
