Foreigners could buy Ron Paul gear from other online stores. You spread the word and usually a chunk of the proceeds from the unofficial Ron Paul stores goes to the campaign and/or RevPac. I don't think you can donate to RevPac as a foreigner, but I'm not sure. I know you can't donate to the official campaign.

I'm also unsure of the legality of all of this. I would check into that before doing anything. We don't want to get our guy in trouble.

How can those outside US (not US citizens) donate legally?

they can't, I'm afraid. Watch for chip ins for supporter funded stuff, signs, straw poll trips etc. I think that's ok. I'm not an expert, though.

You can donate to grassroots initiatives, I think, like getting Gage to events, producing event cards and pamphlets, etc.

I'm wondering if anyone can answer this for me:

My ex is an American citizen and I've convinced her to donate $50. Problem is she doesn't have a credit card, would it be ok for her to use mine? I read somewhere it has to be the person donating's card. Could Ron's campaign get in trouble if she uses my card? Is there any way the FEC could find out?

Edit: she also lives overseas, so how can she put her address in? It makes you put a state and zip code...

Maybe someone can recommend safe ebayers we can buy stuff from? Knowing that those ebayer would contribute to the campaign of course :D

Nope. As far as enforcement, I'm not really sure, but I do believe what you are describing would be illegal.

so it has to be her personal credit card? she can't use mine, even if she's paying for it and the donation is in her name?

I'm really curious about the enforcement though. Does the campaign have to give all transaction details, including credit card numbers, name on card, billing address etc to the FEC or just the names of the donors, address and employer? If they have to give all the payment details, thats a huge infringement on privacy IMO
