Maybe they expect the U.S. will add Canada and the countries of South and Central America to the union.
And all the stars are upside down, too.
Well, it certainly does stand as a representation of the current state of the Republic, doesn't it? Anything that smacks of patriotism will do, regardless of the details, regardless of whether it's correct or not, as it's the thought that counts. Not the Bill of Rights men fought and died to create for us. Just the thought.
Yeh, buddy.

Yeah, the more I think about this story, on all the levels it represents, the more I think it does accurately reflect how well and truly screwed we all are.

The stars represent the 57 (Muslim) states that Obama recognizes, along with 4 to grow on...![]()
The homeland security act of 2001 defined all the terrorities and protectorates as states as well. He reused that same definition explicitly in his "governors board" executive order he issued earlier this year. So technically he was "correct" with the 57 states comment.
LOL this has to be a "cost saving" measure where a bolt of cloth with stars on it is just randomly cut out and attached to the stripes. I'm guessing that the people who made this flag didn't realize that there were supposed to be a certain number or a certain position for those starts, it's just "a field of stars" without too much significance.
Yeah, this is really really sad.
so for a low price, we get 16 more stars free... Seems like a great deal.
It's not even cloth... it's a sheet of plastic with that stuff printed on one side.
