Does Ron have something special planned?

Ron Paul doesn't have to do anything special to win the debate, and follow it up with a top two finish at Ames. Just remind the viewers of where he stands on the debt and the budget and taxes and spending -- the same place he has been standing for the past 35 years.

Perhaps ask her why she voted in favor of the patriot act even though it violates the fourth amendment of the US Constitution.

That one is too easy to wiggle your way out of, especially in a GOP debate. A better question is about her spending votes.

I dunno but, I'd like to see Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Terry Crews, Dolph Lundgren, Flynn Rider (lol) etc. endorsements for Ron Paul.

They should interview these people for the National Inquire and ask the question.

Yep and then have that crew sitting with Chuck Norris in the front row at the debates, staring Wallace down the entire time. Coughing every time they ask RP a BS question.

I've been looking for a list of these things. Can someone post a list of the government spending stuff she has voted for? I know about the patriot act stuff, but I want to know ALL of the spending stuff she's voted on. I was looking at her record but it's a lot to go through.

She voted for the Ryan plan very recently which would require that the debt ceiling be raised for 20 years straight, and for some of the compromise 'gap' solutions for the budget, when Ron and Rand and Lee and De Mint etc were voting against them. Then there was a tea party caucus meeting where she asked for feedback on the debt ceiling and there was a near mutiny. She has been against raising it since then. She leads from behind. She now watches what Ron does and steals his lines wholesale. It infuriates me.

She voted for a bunch of huge appropriations bills which led to the deficit. The only debt ceiling raises since she came into congress in 2006 with the huge Dem influx were attached to huge Christmas tree votes, and she didn't vote for those. She is more fiscally conservative than Lindsay Graham, but that isn't much of a standard.

For the next debate? As far as I understand the Iowa debate in on the 11th, then the straw poll is on the 13th. Is it possible that Paul has planned to unleash hell during the debate so he can win the poll in the next couple days?

Don't get your hopes up, that isn't his style in this century.

What I'm asking is more like, does Ron plan to attack the views and actions of say, MB to guarantee a win at the poll. I don't know if he plans to do anything different in this debate compared to the other ones, but it seems like it would help.

That would have to be crafted extremely well. Otherwise, I'm very afraid that the public would see it as a mean man beating up on a woman. Sad, but true.

My understanding is that the tea party in her own state hates her. Someone should help to give their voice some air time.

My understanding is that Dr. Paul won the caucus in a number of precincts in her district in 2008 and that she probably wouldn't have won that reelection without his support.

I've only heard of 2 of these people.

lol :D thats awesome.. ill have to keep it in mind though then i may be percieved as sexist and if anyone knows im a RP supporter i dont want to attract that attention, i have something in mind im working on now but will not talk too much about it in the forum.. i dont know if they will ask from the audience or not, or if they will have pre-selected people but its good to be prepared..

I'll just restate my suggestion: we need an RP-style person to file to run for her seat ASAP. Somebody credible that can make her feel some heat. She can't run for both president and congress at the same time, we need somebody there starting to work to build support.

Ron definitely needs to have his "I'd like my movement back, please" moment with Bachmann. Call her out on any of the dozens of votes she could be called out on. Everyone in Iowa will be watching.. that will be the time to do it.

Maybe Ron has it planned that the economy will collapse going into Ames so he can school everyone - candidates and attendees - on Austrian economics.
