I thought it was a group of men during the late 18th century. Hmm, I guess you learn something new everyday.

Tea Party was just the logical choice timing-wise and symbolism-wise. It was a group endeavor.

No, i think it was a kid on youtube. He had a video suggesting that we do this again on the 16th because its the teaparty, and this video came out in the twilight of novermber 5th.

REGARDLESS

It does not matter Who came up with it. Who gives a crap? We should focus on the idea, the message, not its specific manifestations right now.

well, I just wanted to point out that he is a large asset to this movement and I'm sick of the sheople snarling about him because they're not yet cured of their apathy. Additionally it was him who had the idea.

He originally said the 15th sign bomb for the Bill of Rights day.

The 16th for the Boston tea Party.

Trevor agreed.

Um . . .

I believe it was Nathaniel Yao from these forums who came up with the Ron Paul Tea Party Idea. I've certainly seen that repeated elsehwere. If I'm wrong, please feel free to correct me.

Actually many people were discussing this idea before Trevor got a hold of it. All the way back to November 5th many people were discussing the idea of Dec16th for the next fund raiser.
Do a forum search.

I suggested an event on Dec. 16 in Boston back in August:

But I don't think the current event was based on anyone reading my suggestion...but at least great minds think alike! :D

Cheers to you Nefertiti.

I think there is no question Dec16th was an outstanding date.:)

That was the same day I suggested Philly as the location of the big rally...my brain was on overdrive that day it seems! I should start reading up on US history to come up with another date/place for our next event...

Alex didn't come up with the idea. On his first interview with Trevor after the November 5th moneybomb, Alex asked Trevor when he was going to have the next money bomb, and Trevor answered that he was shooting for Bill of Rights Day and Boston Tea Party day.
Alex, who is great, has been trying to push that this event be held over those 2 days to build momentum, but he and Trevor conceded in later interviews that the people basically decided TeaParty day would be best. Plus I think Trevor only wanted that day as well since all his advertising was only for Teaparty day. So kudos should go to Trevor, and whoever he works with, on getting the ball moving with the Teaparty date.

And kudos to Alex Jones for constantly pushing the date to his listeners.

Also do a forum search and you will see that there were polls done to see if we should do TeaParty over another date. I don't know who the first person was to mention it, but I think it was a group consensus that Tea Party was "the day."

Correct, Trevor brought it up to Alex Jones on his radio show after the 5th, and Alex pimped it hard thereafter.
