Does anyone have an extra copy of End the Fed?

I have a friend who works in Sacramento and the two of us have always had great discussions of political ideologies... He is a Democrat/Progressive who describes Ron Paul as a "nut" and today I finally convinced him that the Federal Reserve should be audited. He even agreed to read End The Fed!

So my question is, does anyone have an extra copy they can mail to him? I'm willing to have one shipped from Amazon but I thought I'd ask here first!

Does he have a general understanding of the Federal Reserve? I don't have my End the Fed book anymore but I'll send him a copy of "What Has Government Done to Our Money" by Murray Rothbard. There's a few typos in it, but the message is not lost. Hell the back of the "book" is a roll of fifty dollars bill on a toilet paper holder. You can't beat that messaging.

ETA: And for the length of the "book", (it's more of a long pamphlet, really), you can't beat it. Rothbard covers quite a lot considering how short it is.

Or I can send him The Revolution: A Manifesto in a week or two (it's loaned out). Ron Paul at his best and it is a great starter book for those wishing to understand a libertarian philosophy.

Well, he is a lawyer and a part of California union lobbies.. He is quite set in his ways and as stubborn as they come. The fact that he agreed to read one of "that nutcase"'s books is a miracle, so I'm not going to risk frightening him off by exposing him to too much of the philosophy at once. If we can convince him that the Fed needs to be eliminated, that is major progress and he actually is in a position to help spread the message among Sacramento politicians, lobbyists and party leaders....

So, just End the Fed for now and I can't recommend the Rothbard pamphlet until I've read it myself.

So, any loose copies of End the Fed floating around out there?

Thanks everyone

Rothbard scientifically destroys any sense of an "argument" for the Fed.

It isn't "radical" or "extreme." It is a scalpel going over the various stages of our monetary policy of the last 300 years. How short it managed to be is not a statement towards how informative it is. There is a video that may be even better yet for a beginner that is titled, "The Biggest Scam in the History of Mankind."

Before even reading End the Fed, watching this would be an advantage. If you haven't seen it, watch it and see what you think.

You did well. But as you can see, telling people you have someone interested leads the crowd to pile on every extra bit possible.

Good call, one step at a time. Do it the Ron Paul way (plant seeds, don't throw the farm at them).

Might be a cool project to donate copies of End the Fed to every library in each of our zip codes.

Public libraries, schools, etc.
