Did you really expect him to disappear so easily? He'll fight to the bitter end, and I'm thankful for that, because it will divide the liberals and create a diversion for them, and weaken their ability to turn out the vote.

If Dodd had any honor whatsoever, he would resign in disgrace.

Dodd is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs. We have suffered a collapse of Housing and Banking, so why hasn't he resigned and taken responsibility for failing to foresee these problems? Has he even apologized publicly??

Let's hope Dodd doesn't resign. It would give some Dem that gets appointed a leg up on the next race. It might not matter at this rate Dodd probably won't make it through the primary.
