A short documentary on the gold dinar movement, which is the muslim world's equivalent of sound money.
Deriving its motivations from a religious precept, this movement fundamentally differs in this sense from western, secular sound money initiatives that rely primarily on economic arguments. However, from a "purely" secular perspective, Muhammad (sm) Bin Abdullah can be seen as nothing more than an Arab thinker and economist, whose ideas (like keynes e.g.) have persisted and continue to obtained huge following long after their deaths.
Irrespective of contemporary islamophobia and ideological divide, I believe there are great opportunities to work together and promote the common cause of a monetary system that is based on justice and equality for everyone.
