Dear Patriots,

Our campaign is pleased to announce the formation of Doctors for Kerry Bentivolio.

Doctors from around the district and Michigan have come together to endorse Kerry. They come from a wide array of specializations and from different cities, but all of them have endorsed Kerry, signing a detailed and elegant Statement of Support.

You can view the Statement of Support and the doctors who have signed it at this link.

It's also at the bottom of this e-mail, but first, we have a special announcement.

This Thursday, October 18, at 7pm, Kerry will attend an event at the Novi Public Library, hosted by Doctors for Patient Care, a nationwide organization with an active chapter in Michigan.

Both Kerry and his opponent have been invited, as well as the media, so it's important we turn out to support Kerry.

The event is free and open to the public, and the Novi Public Library is located on 10 Mile Road at Taft Road (1 mile east of Beck Road.)

Doctors for Patient Care will have a presentation on the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare), followed by questions from the audience. The candidates will have an opportunity to answer questions as well.

We have set up a Facebook event for you to RSVP if you can attend. Click here to RSVP to join Kerry at the Doctors for Patient Care event this Thursday evening in Novi.

(You can still attend even if you don't RSVP, but it can help us to know how many supporters to expect.)

There are only three weeks left before Election Day. They are the three most critical weeks of the campaign.

Anything you can do--knocking on doors, making phone calls, donating--helps.

If you can, please turn out to make this event a success.

P.S. Here is the Statement of Support from Doctors for Kerry Bentivolio:

“We, the undersigned medical professionals, endorse Kerry Bentivolio to represent Michigan’s 11th district in U.S. Congress.

“We believe that Kerry has a better vision for health care for all Americans, a plan which would restore the doctor/patient relationship, give Americans more choice and access to care, and have natural incentives to contain costs.

“Kerry’s plan differs greatly from his opponent, Syed Taj, a doctor who supports the unpopular Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the expansion of government mandated and centrally controlled health care for Americans.

“Kerry’s plan includes repealing the ACA and giving Americans greater control of their health care by increasing price transparency and competition, equalizing tax treatment for individuals and businesses purchasing health insurance, allowing the purchase of health insurance across state lines, and encouraging the use of Health Savings Accounts linked to competitive health insurance plans.

“These measures, in effect, will empower the individual health care consumer and give Americans greater leverage for access to care while driving down costs.

“For programs like Medicaid and Medicare, Kerry supports a defined contribution ‘premium-support’ model as championed by the Heritage Foundation. This will empower Americans seeking care and it will contain costs making such programs sustainable beyond 2020.

“His opponent, Dr. Taj, supports the ACA and further expanding government-controlled health care, which:

• Gives Americans less choice for health care.

• Will move 17 million working Americans on to Medicaid, which will further limit access to care by the poor and disabled among us whom are dependent on Medicaid currently.

• Maintains the dysfunctional 3rd party middlemen approach to health care in America, which drives up costs and opens the door to fraud, waste, and abuse.

• Controls costs of care by cutting pay to providers and placing Americans into a gatekeeper HMO-like Accountable Care Organization (ACO), giving Americans less choice and making them a cost liability for providers and hospitals. The effect of this will be greatly limited access to care.

• Uses health care rationing as a means to contain costs.

“For these reasons, we believe that Kerry Bentivolio’s health care solutions are what America needs most right now, and his opponent’s plan, which would take Obamacare even further, is unsustainable and will make health care less accessible and more costly.

“We heartily endorse Kerry Bentivolio.”

From Former MI RP Chair:

Dear Patriots,

Sorry it's been so long since I wrote.

Not that there isn't plenty to write about.

We are down to three weeks before Election Day, when all across America, voters will choose who they want to be their leaders.

Depressing, I know. But there is hope, there are candidates, sometimes local candidates, occasionally state or even federal, who do deserve support.

And there are always incumbents running for re-election who need to be punished for their bad behavior in legislative season by activists like you alienating them from the voters.

But for my part, I am 100% committed to Kerry Bentivolio's campaign.

And we are in the fight of our lives.

After the Ron Paul 2008 campaign, I thought had seen media bias stretched to the limit. I thought there was no way the media could possibly have been more hostile to any candidate or to the cause of liberty in America.

The 2012 presidential race, however, saw an even more hostile media. Never before had a candidate been treated so disrespectfully and so disgracefully.

But even that could not prepare me for what I have seen in the past few weeks.

The media is waging nothing less than war on Kerry Bentivolio.

With Ron Paul, their major tactics were marginalization and name-calling.

With Kerry it is much uglier. Flat-out lies, insinuations questioning his military service, questioning his sanity over one sarcastic remark he made 20 years ago... I've never in my life seen anything as disgraceful from the media as their treatment of Kerry Bentivolio.

They are bound and determined to stop him.

This Thursday, however, there is an important and exciting event coming up in Novi at 7pm.

I hope all of you can make it.

The event is a panel hosted by Doctors for Patient Care. It is an informative discussion on ObamaCare.

But what makes it important is that Kerry has formed Doctors for Kerry Bentivolio, and we are bringing the coalition to the event.

The media will be there.

So it is critical that we bring an impressive showing of support for Kerry.

Click here to RSVP if you can make it. There is no cost.

It is very significant that despite all of the media attacks on every aspect of Kerry, doctors around the district are willing to stand up and support him, publicly. They put their own practice on the line for Kerry.

Right now, the race is considered a toss-up. Between Kerry Bentivolio, a regular honest American, a Ron Paul-endorsed constitutionalist, versus Syed Taj, who is being funded by socialists. (Seriously.)

We are running out of time before the election to bring truth to the voters.

We need all hands on deck.

If you live in or near the district, click here to sign up as a volunteer.

And click here to RSVP for Doctors for Patient Care's event with Doctors for Kerry.

If you cannot make it to the event and cannot volunteer for Kerry, please consider making a contribution to help others mobilize in this critical race.

Thanks for all that you do for Liberty,

Adam de Angeli

Ha I like it. "Teachers for Taj" and now "Doctors for Bentivolio." I wonder if there are "Community Organizers for Romney" and "Billionaires for Obama" groups as well

The USA Today had an anti-Bentivolio hit piece a couple of days ago. He needs to step up his campaign and wrap this up before people start having doubts and it becomes competitive.

I think this is really something which shows the Government intentions to start a war on Liberty. And to defend it people need to wake up, if they really want to safeguard their rights. Otherwise it will be all over for them. Really alarming for everyone "War on LIberty".

A complete care and support for our residents
