It's time
I still don't know where I'll be in 2016. I may be at Patrick Henry, in which case I'd be in a heavily politically oriented college in Virginia. I have no idea what I'll be able to do at that point though. Still a long time away to me. That said, I'm not sure how much help I'd be anyways, given my personal style.
Virginia is a Super Tuesday state in 2016, you would probably be alright if you join YAL and moderate your rhetoric a little for campaign purposes.
I am at PHC now and our YAL chapter is not yet operational. Luke said he was going to try to have it up and running in the spring. I plan to join.
try again, I've cleared my messagestried to PM you.
You need to go to this school happening in WPB on Saturday!!!I'm trying to get involved in the GOP here in Florida, but with the schedule I have, it'll be January. Hopefully, doing some volunteer work with some of the candidates will help me out with the party, even if they didn't win. I'm not seeing the Rand supporters here in Palm Beach County. From what I've seen in the party, and that's barely anything, it'd probably be Jeb supporters, or Rubio if he runs. Know anyone in South Florida I may want to get in contact with?
I'll campaign for him in SC. My college doesn't even have a YAL chapter but I've infiltrated the college Republicans.
How did you infiltrate them?
I can't really do that, everyone already knows what I believe.

I promise you can infiltrate. What you need to do is find one local Republican that you support (even if it's 80-85% and not 100%) and volunteer helping them. Walk in parades, make phone calls... basically just give your time and energy to help a Republican that you can stomach helping. The only person you're going to agree with 100% is yourself... and maybe Ron Paul. Don't let perfect be the enemy of the best.
Everyone here knows where I stand too. I don't argue. I don't try to sway. I just state my position and stand on my principles. The only way we'll ever sway them is to have a RELATIONSHIP with them first. It's similar to witnessing. When you tell someone they are stupid and wrong, you don't shine a very bright light.

Then you need to find a candidate and encourage them to run and help them. Or BE that candidate yourself. Depending on where you live you don't have to have permission to run as a R unless you are declared a member of another party. It wouldn't need to be 100% (heck, Ron Paul isn't even 100%) but we'd have to agree on some basics at least, and few Republicans agree with any of my principles.
I'm argumentative and mean
Well, not really mean. But strongly opinionated.
jjdoyle may be interested. lol
