Fact. (The Red Army also suffered FAR much greater loss of life than the US armed forces+the Russians suffered massive destruction of private property.) Hence, virtually no one outside the US thinks the US won the war.

It was essentially a war between communist Russia and Nazi Germany. All the other nations were just helpers for one of those two sides. The US took the side of the commies, natch.

I don't even understand the question.

What is America? When does it mean for America to be great? When was it that in the past?

I would love to see all 50 states secede and have the federal government exist no more. Would that count as America being great again? Or would that be the opposite?
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to erowe1 again.
:( :'( Someone +rep my brother erowe, plz.

Exactly right. And the US regime took the credit for all the Reds' work.

Oh, yeah, sure. And the fact that they accomplished what little they did with U.S. lend-lease materiel and stolen British technology counts for nothing.

That they died in greater numbers than the enemy while we racked up far more enemy casualties than we suffered makes our contribution small and theirs great. Fighting harder is everything, and fighting smarter means nothing. Got it.

It's a sales slogan. No more, no less. Stop reading so much into it.

The fact--the well established fact--that America became great due to the hard work of free people who had liberty as their primary weapon is just a sales pitch. Got it.

If you have to ask, then you wouldn't understand....no offense

I vote yes. Why doesn't everyone? Who doesn't want a Great America?
I'm not voting for Trump but why not have a Great country? Could Ron Paul be president of the Great America?

Well, government could make this country great again, by just reducing the size of government. Of course government doesn't like that idea.

My he question only asks if you want America to be great. Doesn't say govmenent needs to be big. A great America would be with small govmenent. I voted yes because I'd like that small govmenent.

If there were no federal government uniting this 300 million person population under one tax jurisdiction, what would the label "America" even refer to?

So what you consider great is basically what America used to be except without the bill of rights, a national defense, and a single currency.

I don't know if that would constitute a great America or not (hence the question marks at the end of my sentences). But yeah, I definitely support that.

I could go for that. I think America will break apart regionally, but each state separating would be good for liberty too.

I'm almost tempted to respond-and at great length-but experience hath shewn the cost:benefit ratio in debating you makes it not worth my time and energy. Have a fantabulous day, comrade. :)
