Do you think the media in other nations is as corrupt as ours?

yup worse, but theres an international forum for this.

We still haveinternet and idnependetn newspapers/stations etc., other countries arent as lucky

The United States is the worst for propaganda. The New World Order need to the US to fall above all else.

This is the only correct response so far.

You have to be on the outside looking in to realize how bad the US old media is and how entrenched the propaganda machine. It's gone well beyond your media. It's been in your textbooks for decades.

There was a study done years ago, comparing the textbooks used to teach history to elementary and highschool students in the US and former USSR. Contrary to the expectations of the researchers - who had been reared on US educational institutions themselves -, the Soviet textbooks were far more truthful than the American textbooks. The latter left out historical facts which were unfavourable to the US and tended to slant the truth of the rest to put the US in an even better light.

Yes they are.

And just to add, BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 news stations in the UK are not mentioning Ron Paul.

I know for a fact that it is corrupt in Poland

All Media in all countries suck

We need a BILLIONAIRE to start a News Service for the American People.

My wife who is from China has watched this whole thing. She says our media is worse then China's media. That's quite a statement since she was telling me about a friend of hers who dropped out of media broadcasting in China and wished she could work for a media station in America because she thought our news would be "free and equal".

The U.S. media is different because the majority is basically controlled by four to five (?) large news corporations. It's also very America-centric and you hardly hear in-depth news about what's happening around the world (unless it's somehow US-related).

The media's main goal is not to educate the people and make them better informed citizens. Nope. It's to provide entertainment. The propaganda is not as blatant as in other countries like China, Pakistan, or Iran --- we don't have state controlled news agencies --- but they do take seriously their role of manipulating public perception.

I'm not saying other countries are wonderful when it comes to news reporting. However, people living in other countries actually care about the information they're getting. They're smart enough not to believe everything they hear and are quite critical of the information they get. Most Americans live in a dreamland where everything evolves around them and they trust the pretty/handsome reporter on their TV screen to feed their delusions.

US is about 1000x worse than Australia. Literally.

Australian media bias is related to petty crimes. In the US they are trying to cover up the gradual formation of world government.

Yes. Whenever you find any kind of government-enforced mono/oligo-poly you will see corruption.
