I have been saying this for months and months. I believe the libertarian party has been hijacked by the same globalistic, open border, sovereignty stealing, neoconics that have subdued the democratic and republican parties.

So.

Do you believe the Libertarian Party has been compromised, and today stunt by Bob Barr sealed that deal?

Apparently someone doesn't like that I put "YET" at the end of the NO choice. Disregard that "yet". Lets assume they are either compromised or not.

Nope. Barr won the nomination by playing by the rules.

You know, the same thing Ron Paul's supporters tried to do?

So if Barr "hijacked" the LP, we tried to "hijack" the RNC.

Get over it.

Absolutely!

Though it seems to me that the Libertarian Party has been an open-borders party for quite a while, I don't have nearly as much of a problem with that as I have with the pro-war "neolibertarians" (pro-war libertarian is a complete oxymoron, IMHO).

Yes. It just goes to show why Ron Paul has worked inside the Republican party for all these years.

naaah, the libertarian party was always chock full of retards and smarmy little bitches wanting to rule the world.

they're just more vocal these days.

you have it wrong. I am not saying "bob barr' hijacked the party - but that the libertarian power structure has been compromised. And Bob Barr got a directive to not show up. I mean, c'mon -- the libertarian party have been dragging their feet. Libertarian think tanks and notable organizations have been jabbing ron paul the whole time. Just vote.

+1.

Ron Paul really didn't win the primaries, BTW.

Big difference. Ron Paul was always honest and forthright. Sure we were trying to take control of the RNC, but not with deceit, lies, and secret motives.

Bob Barr is a liar. It is coming increasingly clear his stated motives are not genuine.

Well, not to offend anyone, but the most vocal Barr supporters I've known started out as Ron Paul supporters.

If anything, the LP was "hijacked" by Ron Paul fans who weren't well educated about libertarian values.

I'm just glad that a majority of the people here seem to have more common sense than that. It has been refreshing to see my fellow Paul fans stand up to Barr like this.

No one has said he did.

Whoops, was sidetracked. My bad.

As for LP infiltration, counter-balance Neocons by either joining or encouraging others to.

A Ruwart nomination almost happened... The "infiltration" isn't bad if it exists.

Bob Barr a traitor? He's just being who he's always been. The LP can only fault themselves for not looking for consistency in their candidates. Now they'll have to put the pieces back together.

In the meantime, lets make Chuck Baldwin the biggest 3rd party vote-getter since Perot!
