Understandably so. It is really hard not to be bitter when you are sick, and cannot feel well. I truly feel for you! Have you ever went to a Naturopath? I swear by mine. I absolutely loathe conventional doctors, since most of them allow Big Pharma to dictate to them. My Naturopath believes the body can correct itself with the proper nutrition and exercise and a little help with supplements--good quality supplements.
Three years ago I went to the emergency room, thinking I was having a heart attack. They ran a battery of tests on me, and said, there was nothing wrong with me, it was all in my head. They wanted to prescribe to me psychotropic drugs for anxiety. $6,000 later, and still not feeling well and at wits end, I found a Naturopath and made an appointment. Within 10 minutes of my consultation he knew I had a hiatal hernia and corrected it right then and there. The pressure off my chest went away like magic! He also figured I had a acute case of H-pylori and gave me a herbal remedy with a diet to follow for two weeks. He also instructed me, that my symptoms may get worse before they get better, due to the fact that my body was trying to correct it with the supplements. Within two weeks, the recovery time was remarkable.
I have been well-- not even had a cold since then. Nevertheless, I made it a point to study and research to gain more knowledge of how to take care of myself and family. My husband may not like it so much (hee, hee), he thinks I use him as a guinea pig. I have learned to make tinctures and grow my own medicinal herbs.
Another instance, and then I quit boring you, is my father had a mini-stroke a couple of years ago, they had him in-and-out of hospitals and rehabs. He wound up getting a pressure wound so bad, I thought that would initially kill him. Under the doctor's care it got worse. I did some research and found
Manuka honey and an antiseptic called
Dermatol would heal pressure wounds. We used it on his wound, daily, against the doctor's skepticism (and chagrin) and lo and behold the wound healed.
I would never lose hope. The body itself, is unique. I truly believe it can correct chronic diseases and ailments, but it needs help. Our bodies also need our understanding to know when it is trying to signal to us something is wrong, as well.
