My son is fighting in Iraq for our freedom of speech while my running mate and his ilk are fighting in Congress to get the PATRIOT Act and other threats to free speech passed, sir.

I can honestly say she never impressed me once during the campaign. It is doubtful that will change. Thinking back the pig with lipstick comment seems pretty valid, imo.

The fact that she is governor of Alaska says more about the people of Alaska than it does about her.

Palin is even self-blindfolded when it comes to capitalizing on her new found fame. A columnist suggested after the election that she start some website or leadership training program to bring more GOP activists around to her way of thinking, taking advantage of the power vacuum and lack of star power within the party right now. She hasn't, and looks like no one in her circle has even suggested it to her. Ron Paul however HAS been preparing his supporters for the future through his Campaign for Liberty, and by encouraging the grassroots movement to continue. One 2008 candidate is clueless, the other visionary.

As it stands now, I can't afford to give any inclination to the Neo-GOP that she doesn't seem all that bad compared to the others they've been running. They'll just push her to the forefront and leave Dr. Paul blowing in the wind.

Then again, that's not saying much.

Truly one of the dumbest "professional women" I have seen in a great while. I am surrounded by dozens of women who are more intelligent and qualified to lead than this chick!

I was utterly embarrassed to watch her represent leadership in our country....

I don't know her at all.
She is not too hard to look at, but difficult to listen to.

I think she was chosen and promoted to entertain those ignorant enough to believe that McCain ever had a chance.
