Do you drink bottle water or home filtered water?

What kind of water you drink?

We're trying to switch from bottled water to this home filter option:

There are conflicting views when I tried to research drinking water options. Are you aware of any differences between bottled water vs home filtered from health standpoint?

I have a well and drink the water from it.
I have the water checked every year and what they find is that it has it's own fluoride in it.

Filter water from a Berkey. On the road, bottled.

I drink bottled, Ozarka spring water. Filtered water from the tap still has too many impurities for my taste (and health).

It depends upon what kind of filtration system the bottled water was treated with.

Personally, I use a reverse-osmosis water filtration system. It's the only kind that I'm aware of, that removes the fluoride. The water tastes wonderful.

IMO, it's the chlorine that's the bug-a-boo.

Personally, I don't want either, but if I had to choose, I'd choose chlorine over fluoride, any day. Reverse-osmosis filters take it ALL out, along with all the nasty critters.

So true. It even eats up the rubber in the toilet/urinal plumbing fixtures. That is why you will find black paste on your hands when you work on that stuff.

i thought they revealed bottled water was just tap water anyway

lol

Yeah, some. Most, I think are run through carbon-based filters to remove the chlorine.

You can go to someplace like Whole Foods and fill up containers there at their huge 'ol reverse-osmosis machines. It's really cheap. Or, you can rent or buy a personal unit at someplace like Culligan.

I recently visited Interlaken, Switzerland, and their water tasted so pure right out of the tap, that I don't think they even add chlorine or fluoride. It wasn't just the water that was better there either - everything was. I could see myself moving there. I never thought I'd hear myself say this about another country. But it was that great.

I sometimes buy bottled water; then reuse the bottles with filtered tap water. I have the Berkey. water tastes great.

yesterday i ran out of home bottled water at work and took a mouthful of water from water fountain by disney in a mall YUCK! i damn near spit it out it tasted so bad. Must bring more water from home :)

Neither. I drink very tasty reverse osmosis water that I get 1.25 for 5 gallons at my friend's water machine. It is the best water I've ever drank.

I had a friend do that once but only about 3 times....man my head still hurt like hell the next day and it still tasted bad going down.
Yeah... it wasn't filtered enough. If it still tastes like kerosene then you haven't run it through the filter enough times. ;)
