What Bernanke Wants Congress To Do

http://www.usnews.com/news/blogs/ri...ants-congress-to-do?google_editors_picks=true

It would be nice if he just came out and said what was on his mind. But that's not the way the chairman of the Federal Reserve usually speaks. Still, Ben Bernanke is getting a lot more talkative when it comes to the nation's economic problems.

...

Bernanke has been dropping louder and louder hints about what Congress ought to do to pick up the slack. Here are some of the main suggestions embedded in Bernanke's typically circumspect rhetoric:

(each of the following points is fleshed out in the article - click through)

Reduce the national debt.
Get entitlements under control.
Formulate a plan now….
… But phase it in gradually.
Help fix the housing market.
Consider a value-added tax.
Invest in R&D and infrastructure.
Abolish the legislative branch.

He needs his job and it may go out the window if he don't get the house in order. How to do that? Well a certain POTUS candidate has a cure.
