If you know anyone in LA District 7 who might be interested in running for Congress against the tax-hiking, war spending, constitution ignoring, Giuliani endorsing incumbent -- please let me know!

We need a Ron Paul Republican to challenge in the Republican congressional primary.

I run campaigns down here, and want to talk to you!

Please?

NO. It's not past time for filing. That's not til August.

And Torchbearer is already running -- in another District.

I was seriously considering this in 2012. I'm not sure I'd be ready for such an adventure now. But I will consider it....I'm 35, married for 13 yrs to same wife, four children ages 8- 4 months, pro-life Christian, BS in Finance from McNeese State Univ. and a Master in Pastoral Studies from Loyola Univ New Orleans (I was considering becoming a Roman Catholic deacon - but no more). I wanted to get my MBA and then make a bid for it...what do you think?

What do I think? Start a chipin!

what are the chances of getting elected if you don't have a college education, but still own a very "well off" business?

Honestly, go for it. Looks what the last 100 years of mostly college educated politicians has gotten us.

I am in the same shoes. I have run my own business for the past 13 years and I do not have a college education. However, I would put my degree of hard-knocks up against any University degree, which is why I would encourage you to run.

The years have proven that what people have been taught is flawed and our current status of affairs is proof of this failure. We need leaders that will think out of the box and blaze their own paths. People who will live by the principles of our founders but not limit themselves to politically accepted doctrine.

We need commonsense now more than a degree from an Ivy League School to run this country. If you have a degree and commonsense then of course run by all means but don't let this limit you if you are not a college graduate.

If I was running for congress, I would be rather wary of having my campaign managed by someone with Huey Long as their namesake...
