Fox News
All points agreed, but the older people are the ones who donate and actually get out and vote, unlike the majority of college aged adults.
Those are facts we can never jump over and have to realize it.
Now, how did Ron do in 2008 in Michigan and AZ? Let's start comparing.
AZ 2008 - 22,692
MI 2008 - 54,475
Last I checked it's something like the 50 - 70 year olds who largely decide every election. They don't go to rallies, they don't have bumper stickers or yard signs, but they sure do vote. And I have a feeling they vote largely based on what they see on television.
...whoever is running the campaign is making some big mistakes.
There was a big Women's Republican meeting in Arizona -- RON DID NOT SHOW UP -- the other candidates did. All the candidates met with Gov. Jan Brewer EXCEPT RON PAUL. Ron Paul did NOT GO TO CPAC.
These are big events he should NOT be missing.
Ron's going to colleges and speaking to the converted.
He's not reaching out, he's not expanding his campaign, he's not refining the message.
Another poster said he's building up a base for the future, maybe for his son. Maybe he knows the old folks are too stupid to ever change (they've already destroyed this country anyway).
At first I thought it was conspiracy, until I showed up for the Nevada caucus. I saw a TON of people shuffling in, all of them OLD, and I realized, "Wow, these people are silent, they're not politically involved, BUT THEY VOTE LIKE CLOCKWORK and they vote Establishment."
Can anyone here say... massive vote fraud?
Fourteen Defining Characteristics Of Fascism
14. Fraudulent Elections - Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.
I wonder if any other characteristics fit whats going on now...

Literally none of those things are happening now. Go to Russia, the nations that surround it, Africa or the Middle East if you want to see that garbage.
The media does participate in smearing candidates, and some districts are gerrymandered. There's some truth found in the statement he posted.
Old people don't want R(evol)ution. We're way way away from their comfort zone. They're the ones who have been picking the candidates we hate. Their tastes are not our tastes.
Ron Paul has the most enthusiastic supporters because he's the most DIFFERENT. To us, it's what, No One But Paul? To them it's not that at all. It's Whoever Can Beat Obama. WCBO. Ron Paul is just far from what the average old person is looking for.
It is an error to think, by the way, that we spend more time and effort on young people than old. Those people we call with phone from home? Those are the voters. The young typically aren't voters. The young typically aren't on the lists. If we get the info for a young person, we'll add their info to our lists, but we don't start with their info. We do have the info of the regular voters. I don't know what segment of the voters they're using, but it doesn't include college students.
All polls indicate that we are best liked, in any given state, by 18-29 year old males. They are not on our lists. We spend time and money to call pretty much everyone else but young folks who do like us. Our GOTV is like finding needles in haystacks. If 18-29 year old males voted at the rate that 65+ year old women do, and 65+ year old women voted at the rate that 18-29 year old males do, we would've won a lot of states.
We should be doing as much Extra GOTV as possible, with a focus on 18-29 males.
It's difficult work, and we don't like doing it, but it has to be done to win. We do so little of it, so little of what we, the grassroots does, even touches Vote, and Voting.
The grassroots can just stop talking about Ron Paul. We get it. We can't even get people who like us to the polls. Work on that. Get that done. The grassroots should just stop with the persuasion. And just Get Out The Vote. Do whatever you think will work to get 18-29 males to the polls.
