We've always known it was going to be an uphill battle. Yet, we stood on street corners waving signs, canvassed entire cities to promote Dr. Paul's platform and his delegates, mailed super brochures in the hundreds of thousands, and fought the establishment to become delegates for Ron Paul.

Still we fought.

You're email is more than a let down. It speaks in total defeat, which is EVERYTHING we've fought through.

Still we fight, without you.

Even if Ron drops out officially. I will still fight on for delegates and for him to win the Nomination!

To Benton: What are you doing to support the delegates in Oklahoma??? You ask the GOP to respect us, but how 'bout some respect for the OK patriots? Even a thank you would be nice instead of demonizing them by saying the campaign didn't like what went on there. A couple people in OK took punches for liberty -- they did NOT return punches. I'll admit, it's kind of hard to return a punch from a 70-year-old person, but still, they took it and in return have been demonized in the press by you! I'm beginning to see why folks are not happy with you.

We don't need a campaign to nominate a candidate.

It is a let down, with everything on the line we can't afford to give up... even when we are down so many chips. I will keep fighting.

I don't remember seeing any fights. What fight is that you refer too? Holding signs is a fight?

Thankfully the founders didn't feel the same way eh?

It's time to consider the fact that if you allow them to crap on you which they are absolutely doing, they will crap more not less and they are not going to stop because you ask them to.

If you want it bad enough you'll fight for it. If you don't you won't.

Amen! Benton has been the singular biggest liability to this movement since day 1 and he proves it over and over right on time. Unfortunately, he managed to marry into Paul's family and is now entrenched. I'd get banned if I really let fly what I think about him but Im pretty much convinced that he's not incompetent, he has been compromised and is looking out for his own political future by playing up to the elite.

Fuck you Benton. The beauty is nothing changes for me and I'll keep plugging along through this process and I know the other core supporters will too, despite his attempts to sabotage our momentum.

In 2016, if Benton is going to manage Rand's campaign too, then I am not getting involved. Period.

Glad to see you are doing so well as a member of the Romney campaign, Benton! You are doing an amazing job of stabbing us in the back! I'd like to extend my appreciation by saying.... Fuck you. Freedom isn't something you can sweep under the rug and despite your actions we will continue the fight.

Candidate has to be willing to accept the nomination ... is he? I'm really beginning to wonder. Is it possibly true what was being said all along?

Well what was being said all along was that Paul really didn't see himself in the WH. The media also speculated multiple times that Paul was running to get a prime time speaking slot and to have a say on the platform.

Turns out they were right.

Of course he continued to run to support the grassroots but I think we wanted to win more than maybe Paul himself.

Really? he was heavily involved in Rand's last campaign, where he won.

I think Benton is great.

Please, the KY race was Rand's to loose. Running a campaign between two people within the two party system in a conservative yet Democrat state is totally different than running a national Republican primary with 8 plus people. The dynamics are that different.

was it him that made that happen? I think it is a stretch to say 'he' won. He was better than Adams. Frankly, for a southern conservative campaign, I think he fits in. It is the cross voter stuff where I think he is less comfortable. As I think is the case with Wead to some extent.

Sure it is always the candidate's race to win. And yes, I'd say Rand won and so did the team that supported him.
My point is it is silly to say you wont' get involved in Rand's campaign if Benton managing it since that pair won last time. My impression is the same people that hate Rand hate Benton, so kinda fits. :)

I always knew he didn't want it, can't say I'd want that big of a headache in my golden years. Ron did us all a favor by running and leading us by the hand like little children so we'd get involved in the GOP and reclaim the damn party like we started out to do with the advent of the C4L on the heels of the R4R. What more do people want out of him? Fuck me
