Digg Please: JP Morgan 1907, Fed, Bear Stearns 2008, Ron right again!

Thanks all for your diggs. The business section of Digg has been a fertile ground for getting these stories on the front page. Yesterday's submission about Dick Cheney's preparations for an economic collapse has over 2,500 diggs!

Yeah, looking at the comments that didn't turn out so well.

I helped a little. I posted that one elsewhere. The (not so) funny thing about the Panic of 1907 is ol' J.P. Morgan helped start it. Nothing like creating the problem your pet project will allegedly "solve".

1929 has three seperate economic cycles dipping down in unison.

Don't forget the deep drought and the culmination of years without crop rotation happening in the Bread Basket of the World. I think that played a large part in the economy's refusal to bounce back in those years.

The Bread Basket of the World is a huge part of America's natural wealth.
