Did you really think it would so easy to win back our lives, liberty and happiness?

Think about how long the forces opposing us have been at work. Jefferson and Jackson fought them off when they tried to establish the Bank of the United States. The dark forces finally prevailed when the Creature from Jekyll Island established itself in the dark of a winter's night in 1913.

Think of the enormous wealth, power and control they have gained over almost every aspect of the global economy in the last 95 years through financial manipulation and wars. Think how close they were to acheiving an almost complete monopoly over the major media throughout the Western world - newspapers, televisions, radios, magazines.

Did we really think that we could so easily defeat such profoundly powerful forces that have been working steadily and inexorably for decades to consolidate their grip on the minds and wealth of the world?

Did we really think that parting with a few paper tickets and Digging stories and emailing Hannity was going to win Liberty back for ourselves and our posterity over the course of two or three months?

We have a long, hard fight ahead of us.

I leave you with a quote from a Patriot:

“Contemplate the mangled bodies of your countrymen, and then say 'what should be the reward of such sacrifices?' Bid us and our posterity bow the knee, supplicate the friendship and plough, and sow, and reap, to glut the avarice of the men who have let loose on us the dogs of war to riot in our blood and hunt us from the face of the earth? If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!”

Well, it was a nice thought that it would happen over the course of a year... but I read you loud and clear!

For my part, I've been trying to direct people to open their eyes and witness all the biased and spinning from the Gods of the Almighty Television. Even if someone is adamantly against the idea of Dr. Paul becoming the Republican nominee, I urge them to at least look at how much effort has been made to dismiss him and then ask what else has the Television God lied about. Quite frankly, this has been a very useful tool in awakening the nearly brain-dead.

Truly this goes well beyond Dr. Paul. I whole-heartily applaud his efforts to spread his message against all odds. But we must continue on even after the next president (shudder) whomever that may be (shudder) takes the office. As more people are awakened to what is going on, and enough become as angry about it as we are, then we can come back stronger for go-arounds for years and years to come.

If we should lose this race, we must then begin to focus on both local and federal levels... wherever the "people" are supposed to get a say. Once awakened in this manner, it is difficult to go back to sleep.

I don't know if it's possible, but I'm sure as hell going to try.

I've converted about six people so far (not much, but they'll gain followers too: it's a pyramid scheme).

I got my best friend into RP and he already has his mom, step brother, and his friend on the train
