Did you guys watch Revolution last night?

Revolution used Joe Biden as a reference for the rebel Patriot group lololol

Can't stand Last Resort, mostly because I just can't stand military culture or shows that glorify it.

Kind of dig Homeland despite that, but it's kind of losing steam in season 2, methinks.

Once Upon A Time is like Lost for women.

Yeah, Revolution has already tanked for me. I keep hoping for another one like Jericho.

Lol, I watched the last episode (ep. 3 4), and it's just NOT improving. And I can't stand the main actress girl (niece of the ex-general Charlie). Way too many things in the show are ludicrously unrealistic.

Watching both. Last Resort is much better, but I'm afraid the crew will turn on the captain over his new country. They didn't look to pleased about the possibility that the island might be home now. I also dug how they took over the NATO facility.

Revolution is OK. I have to suspend my disbelief too much. Like someone said, it's been 15 years, when IMO, it looks more like a year or so after the incident. But I'm going to keep watching it for now. I do like how the new govt is portrayed as evil, and has banned guns, and showed it evil ways by killing the dude who used a shotgun to hunt. From his cold, dead hands! He was pretty stupid though too, hanging that deer riddled with buckshot in the front yard. He would have known better.

Hadn't heard of Last Resort, I'll give it a look. I fully agree with having to suspend disbelief too much... I mean one can only do it so much before calling it quits.

The first episode of Last Resort was too good to be true. The 2nd and 3rd episodes were a bit of a let-down. Not sure if I'll continue to watch.

Well report back if you think it's still worth a shot. I only have so much time and hate wasting it on a sh*tty show. Watching the 5th episode of Revolution right now, and it's a bit better than #4. Still some nagging annoyances.

I have kept watching Revolution out of boredom and I hate it more every time. It's like the writers ask themselves before penning any scene, "OK what's the absolute stupidest thing the characters could possibly do in this scenario?" and that's what they write. The latest episode on Hulu (the one with the train) was no better than the rest in that respect.

Yea, I have to retract my previous statement. Just as I was thinking it was getting a little better, things got just as ridiculous again. The one resistance chick gets stabbed in the stomach, barely affects her. Grabbing the bomb out of the furnace.. How the one militia prisoner escapes. I'm sure there are at least a half other serious screw ups that I can't recall ATM. There's no logical reason for me other than boredom too.

I'm hoping Charlie gets killed off soon. Her and her brother are so freaking stupid. Uncle tells you if you get close to finding Daniel turn around, yet she runs into the militia general and starts following him. Almost got her brother blown up. Her brother had a chance to kill that militia guy and run, but instead saves him. Totally stupid.

You mean this thing hasn't been yanked yet? lol..

Believe it or not, it got picked up for a full season.

The bad guy played by Giancarlo Esposito (also played Gus on Breaking Bad) is the redeeming factor.

I watch Last Resort and Homeland too. Meh on Last Resort....I like Homeland but Claire Danes character gets on my last nerve.

I've not seen it. Isn't it some propaganda BS about white al qaeda?

It deals with blowback alot. That's basically why the American marine turned into a Muslim terrorist, he witnessed 82 children get drone bombed.

It's a good show, the acting is decent, good plot, an the script is very well written.
