Huckabee seems to have no problem co-opting Ron Paul's positions, what better way for him to learn all of them than as VP for 4 years?

Both of them were lied to too. They told RP they'd give him a question in 2-2.5 minutes, actually if I remember correctly they promised RP they would. And they did not. And they told Huckabee they would shower him with questions. Which they did not. So much for the trust of the MSM.

Never thought I'd say this, but yes, I now have a little more respect for Huckabee. Not the sort of "I agree with him and he speaks the truth" respect I have for Ron, more like the "he's got balls" kind of respect I have for Dennis Kucinich/

I noticed this also. In every debate, Huckabee listens and is respectful of who is talking, even when the rest resort to snickering about Ron Paul. He, in turn, has my respect.

Yep, and he allegedly has a mean vindictive streak. I would LOVE to see him drop out pre-Feb 5th and endorse RP.

I believe there is some mutual respect between the two. They had a heated exchange in one of the debates last year over Iraq but it was an exchange of ideas, not the foolishness that we witnessed between Romney and McCain.

Nah, I'm thinking press secretary would be better. No line of succession worries, and we'd be putting his greatest asset (folksy communication) to use.
