Dick Morris in a panic over "Americans Elect 2012"

Sure they may run a candidate to take away votes from the Republican nominee (especially if that nominee is Ron Paul), but if Dick did his research he'd find out there is pretty much no way they would run Ron Paul as their candidate.

Exactly.
As usual Dick Morris has no clue of what he is talking about.
the funny part is that he always does it with that smile and tone as if he was the most experienced ,far seeing, deep conoisseur who knows them all.
My problem with the little ignorant prostitute toe sucker is NOT that he is anti-Ron Paul, but that he is always pushing this strange idea that " he knows for sure" when in reality it is impossible to understand what a hell he is comically blabbering about ,and he does that on any single subject!

"@ronpaul may be America Elect's candidate. This would be a disaster for the Republicans and almost guaruntee a win for @BarackObama in 2012"

"I urge people not to sign the petitions to allow America Elect to be on the ballot. This is a serious problem and not to be taken lightly."

Heh.

Haha. Its wonderful to see the Nazi High Command sweat it out a little. Hear those thuds Morris? Those aren't neo-con goose-steepers parading around. That's the Liberty movement fighting its way into the interior of the capital city of thuggery.

If Ron wanted to run he would be on all the ballots. PERIOD. But he doesnt. He intends to win the nomination. Trump and Johnson whom they never pestered about this are the ones running third party. the GOP needs Ron as nominee to keep disaffected voters IN the GOP.

He would probably campaign for Obama if Paul won the nomination. Obama is a better ideological match for him....

Actually, what the meme going around the internet is that if Ron chose someone from a different party that is a 'balanced' ticket under their rules so they don't get to ok the people. Then it is just him, his VP and the electorate. The very NOTION that they should approve the selection the people get is pretty repugnant to me, though.

He talks about everything in that manner. It always seems like he's improvising off of a script he hasn't totally memorized yet.

what gets me is he thinks he is so clever.

oh well, he gets too much attention here. most of his video views are from RP people, he is getting disliked which is awesome

according to americans elect website, "A NONPARTISAN TICKET on the 2012 ballot. Americans Elect finalists must choose a VP from a party other than their own." Wondering what GJ's announcement is!

The board also said they are going to "screen nominees" so only approved nominated candidates can actually be voted on:

Actually I read the other day that candidates who meet certain criteria (one of them being having served in Congress) are automatically approved. I think the "screening" is on a case by case basis for candidates who apply but don't meet any of the criteria.

So it sounds like Ron Paul could get on if he wanted, and he could probably get the most votes (assuming it's not rigged, which it could be). There was that MSNBC clip of the guy from Americans Elect where the idiot host asks "but what's to keep someone like Ron Paul from getting the nomination??" and the AE guy fires back with "Why are you scared of Ron Paul?" So we'll see...maybe we can get him on both the GOP and AE ballot lines, haha.
