They are just taking advantage of RP's high public visibility to collect contact info for a mailing list. I'm sure they figure anyone dimwitted enough to believe that stuff will be more than happy to stroke a check to their little political adventures. Most all politicians and political groups do the same thing to build their fundraising base. Anytime you get a "Sign Our Petition to Stop .... whatever", you can bet its just a guise to get your contact info for future fundraising.

Put that in an ad coupled with the face of Axlerod and Obama (preferably all sitting in one sofa).
