i'm watching season 1 right now. i've started questioning if i'm anti-social, I knida agree with a lot of what dexter talks about.
his inability to understand holiday rants sound familiar.

Lol, no way, you're way too nice! Dexter is a sociopath. Although, people think Dexter is nice too... :p

First season starts out kinda slow, but soon you will be hooked!

TV Shack will probably work for you again tomorrow, but only for 1 episode. They use megavideo, and unless you have a premium megavideo account you're limited to something like 75 minutes per day.

That tv shack site I just posted a link to was terrible. I keep getting a popup like every 2 minutes telling me I have a virus, and also all these porn links keep popping up. Do not go there!

I'm halfway through season 3 now. The show has become a lot less funny since the first season, imo. Dexter was such a socially awkward person in the first season. He would fumble the most basic social interactions, which was what made it so funny. He's become a lot more sociable. It's still a great show though.

My favorite part out of all the episodes I've seen so far was in season one when the ice truck killer covered that whole hotel room in blood, and that black cop said to Dexter, "It's like your wet dream in there." Haha! And then Dexter went in and fainted. I was rofl'ing.

Dexter is one of the best shows ever, plain and simple.

Some of my other favs are Trailer Park Boys and the newer Firefly series.

Respect to all of them.
 
I was looking for a new show, and Dexter has always been on my radar, but this post was the deciding factor to actually start to watch it. I have not been disappointed, just begining season 2.
 
I finished season 4 of Dexter this morning. The ending was sooooo crazy! I still can't believe it!!! I'm like still in shock. If you have seen it, do NOT say what happens and spoil it for others who are still watching. I think season 4 might have been the best season. I can't wait for season 5. I'm going to read the books in the meantime.

books are not exactly the same though, methinks. and there are only two, or maybe three.

Yeah, I was just reading about them online. I guess they are different from the show, but most books are usually different from their on-screen version. I'm just going to order the first one on amazon to see if I like it before I get the rest. There are four books.

I think a lot of people felt your way. I was, indeed, shocked. Kinda sick to my stomach almost (way too involved in a show when that happens!). But apparently it was getting to formatted, and they wanted to get out of the comfort zone so they don't just repeat the same thing over and over again as it would get boring. New challenges and the sorts.

but I am sad the ending happened the way it did still :[
