Despite The News Of A 3rd Party Run - Who Is Still With Our Revolution!?!?!?!

I will vote George Phillies if he wins the Libertarian nomination. I hope a lot of other RP supporters will get behind him, too. I will not vote for Wayne Allen Root though.

I really don't know what I"m going to do. I guess I am not quite as zealous in my support of Ron Paul as a lot of other people here. I do hope Ron Paul wins his seat in Congress again. We really do need people like him in the house of representatives.

Amen!

I'm definitely still in. Now that I've voted, my main interest is getting liberty candidates into Congress. This is where the Revolution needs to go next.

We need to have this mentality. (Although there is still much we can do to help Ron even after we've voted.) We are fighting a war with many battle fronts. I'm in the WAR for the long haul - not just this battle!

Freeeeeeddddooooooooom!!

Seriously, it ain't over 'til the rotund female vocalizes in a melodious manner:p

I hope Dr Paul will continue to lead us. No matter what happens in Nov. We'll keep growing and will prevail sooner or later.
You must realize how much we have grown in the past 6 months, imagine if we had 2 years???
I'll never trust the MSM again, and I won't be getting my "news" from the NY Post ETC.

Once you can see, you can never be blind again.

I'm in this for the long paul.....

I'm still with it, but I'm no longer campaigning for the Presidency this time around. We've lost the first battle, but a glorious loss it was, and the war rages on.

I've voted for Ron Paul in 2000 and in 2004 via write-in. I'm insulted that anyone would do anything than work harder in this campaign. We are having more impact right now than at any other time in the freedom movement. We are causing change within the Republican party. The grassroots need to take more initiative so that Ron can spend some time in his home district. From here on out the "rEVOLution" will be in charge of the presidential campaign and HQ will be taking orders from us. Every state we can continue to place above 5% in is a major moral victory with tangible real world impact.

Suck it up and march on soldiers!!!

here here!!! All the way and still telling people about our movement even though my state's primary is over and helping the other like minded candidates get positions.

AWESOME! +1000

edit: Actually, I can't really +1000 that, because I didn't vote for Ron Paul in 2000 or 2004 and I am new to the cause. But way to go! And I agree with everything else.

Despite what people say about me, I'm on board with the revolution. Ron Paul's Presidential bid is over. I support continuing to spread the message of Ron Paul, getting him re-elected into Congress, and getting more Paul like people into Congress. People here seem to think that if you accept Ron Paul doesn't have a chance to become President, as Paul himself has said in his latest email, that you shouldn't be a part of this movement. I strongly disagree. After all, Paul himself has said that this movement should continue beyond his failed Presidential run. We need to keep fighting.

I agree with Jeff completely. However.....

there are many people who cannot support the republican party. Ron Paul is committed to the republican party. This does create a certain challenge. For instance I just posted this on another thread and then read the new message from Ron Paul.........

"Personally, I think the Ron Paul Revolution should be the foundation for a new party!! It should draw from the other freedom and liberty parties/movements, those who are sympathetic to and will support what RP political ideology. The RPR needs to establish itself architecturally as an organization. It needs to evolve further. Organically. It need not assume an old form (mechanical). It need not be hierarchical or have one center.

That would probably be the most difficult task....creating a new (grass roots) organization (from the ground up) based on liberty and freedom . In my mind that means a dynamic and open system. I think more and more of us should start educating ourselves and start thinking out of the box on how to do this."

IMO Another element has been added to the challenge. How to accomplish the above without competing with /diminishing what Ron Paul wants to accomplish.

Ron Paul having a congressional seat in congress resulted in no changes to our foreign policy, infringement of civil liberties, or monetary policy. He was ignored and often voted alone. Going back to that congressional seat is not why I sent him money or spent time supporting him. He needs to run 3rd party in order to set the GOP straight. Either he'll win as a third party candidate or he'll prevent the GOP from winning with liberal John McCain. Either way he can demonstrate to the GOP once and for all that it can either move back to its conservative base or become irrelevant. Ron Paul is in the perfect position to win a third party run. McCain is hated by Republicans. Hillary is hated by everyone. Now is the time.

It's a 2 party system and we just have to accept that if we want to make any impact. Ron Paul knows this and that's why he ran as a Republican to get into the Congress. Can you imagine what would happen if we got enough people like Paul into Congress? They'd be an important voting block for the Republican Party and they'd have to start promoting our ideas or the Democrats would control everything. Work within the system to change the party. This is what Ron Paul has done for 30 years.
