Iowa for Ron Paul facebook group posted about this this morning. I know the local Cedar Rapids for Ron Paul group has been talking about it and organizing car pools. I also received an email last night about it:
Hello everyone!
This is Anthony Reed, Regional Director for Ron Paul's campaign. You should have already received an email about the Iowa Straw Poll being held this Saturday in Des Moines. This is not as big an event as the Ames Straw Poll - but we still need to win it!
Tickets are only $10 ($5 for students) and include lunch and a speech by Ron Paul, himself.
Also, you do not need to be a registered voter - or even an Iowan - to vote in the Straw Poll. So, bring as many people with you as possible!

Tickets only $10
1. Ron Paul gives speech - 9:15 a.m.
2. Vote for Ron Paul in the Straw Poll - 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
3. Attend a special meeting in Room #139 - 10:00 a.m.
4. Enjoy lunch at the convention - 12:00 p.m.
Doors open at 8 a.m. Visit registration table to pick up straw poll ticket
