Democratic National Committee vice-chair Tulsi Gabbard resigned from her post on Sunday to endorse Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders.

"I think it’s most important for us, as we look at our choices as to who our next commander in chief will be, is to recognize the necessity to have a commander in chief who has foresight, who exercises good judgment," Gabbard, a U.S. representative for Hawaii, said on MSNBC show "Meet the Press".

I hate Bernie Sanders, but her endorsement was awesome.

I sincerely love this woman, as a person. Her politics in general, meh, but she took a very impassioned stance against her party, the Clinton's and interventionist foreign policy. Gutsy move.

I see that as a good thing. Bernie Sanders has no right to be President. You can't have Hugo Chavez leading the United States. The United States is not a third world country. The DNC is a private organization. They should be able to do whatever they want. They don't or shouldn't have to cater to anyone in a free society. Authoritarian violence would be forcing the organization to have people in positions of authority who they don't want in authority.

Thats exactly the big reason I dont like Trump or his followers. There seems to be a collective notion between them that one form of authoritarianism is somehow better than another form of authoritarianism.
