The "Defeat the Ink!" Money Bomb for Kerry Bentivolio has started (a bit earlier than expected). For those that are unaware Kerry Bentivolio is a liberty candidate running for the House of Representatives in Michigan's 11th Congressional District.
Why should you help Mr. Bentivolio?
Here are a few reasons:
1.) He's a liberty candidate, endorsed by multiple liberty-minded organizations. Read an interview with LibertyCandidates.com HERE.
2.) He's the only Republican on the ballot in the Primary because of a foul-up by the establishment incumbent Thaddeus McCotter (and by "foul-up" I mean potentially criminal fraud committed in his signature petition to get on the ballot).
3.) Michigan went through redistricting after the 2010 census and the new MI-11 district voted 55% Republican in 2008.
4.) The local GOP establishment hand-picked a status quo politician to try to thwart Bentivolio via a write-in campaign (hence the name of the money bomb). She's dumping a LOT of money into it.
So as you can see we're poised to get another liberty-caucusing Congressman if we put in the elbow grease. Some campaign promises Bentivolio has made is to serve a maximum of 3 terms, to work on term-limit legislation, and to post rationales behind his Congressional votes online like Justin Amash.
