Deep down, is Rand actually a true anarcho-capitalist? Either way is he still OK?

Is Rand Paul a more hardcore type libertarian, but pretending otherwise?

"Country" and "nation" don't necessarily mean the same thing as "nation-state."

America is a little tricky since its a melting pot. But even still, there are certain cultural and linguistic elements that unite us as Americans. I have no problem with this. What I have a problem with is the government.

Rand... the idea that Rand could be a closet ancap is something I'm not even going to consider. Its extremely unlikely, and if it were true, he's putting on an act that people smarter than me are not supposed to see through, so I'll just ignore the possibility. I think its more likely (though not terribly likely) that he's a closet neocon.

You're an idiot.

Don't you think if Rand Paul was a closet neocon his dad would know by now?

"more" is a relative term. More absolute stupidity from people who can't read:rolleyes:

Here's what I actually said:

I doubt Rand is a closet neocon. But I think that's more likely than him being a closet ancap.

Do you think Ron Paul is a closet neocon?

Of course not. I don't know for sure that Ron even knows what Rand's strategy is, but even if he does, he's not going to sabotage his son.

I don't want one-world government. ANd I think as long as governments exist, the more localized they are, the less damage they can do, and that's better.

So, you've chosen option B. Okay.

The difference between us is that I ultimately want to see all government privatized, while you still believe in the existence of a limited state. Which, I'm fine with agreeing to disagree on. As long as you actually understand the position you are disagreeing with. I do not think you do.
