Debra on Beck 02/11 @ 10am

The Ron Paul Supporters/Libertarians are outnumbered by the Neo-Con Warmongering Conservatives. The TeaParty Members are made up of Ron Paul Supporters, Libertarians and Conservatives. We need to stick together in our Common Goal, which is to Oust Obama and the Lib/Dems.

Glenn Beck blew it. Score one for the Libs.

If we split off, we'll never win as evidenced by the election in 2008. First get rid of the Libs, then work on the Independent/Anti-War crowd.

We were really counting on those guys from hotair, too.

Reading the comments on that thing is really depressing, and I think the so-called 'MiHOP' truthers are full of crap. The answer was not wrong, per say, as much as it was wrong 'politically', and they're saying, 'We'll she's obviously a truther' and singing praises for Perry. I don't think this country is going to make it.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Debra cannot now retract from the position that she has - in the very least - unanswered questions respecting our government's role, whether in the events themselves, or in the subsequent dissemination of evidence.

But, is such a position: the questioning of gov't integrity in all matters - even those deemed unquestionably sacrosanct by the powers-that-be, a net negative for her? Especially given the mounting dissatisfaction with the other two life-time Tax Eaters and the machinery of gov't itself?

I did like the "I'm not a 9/11 Truther" Texan and Medina supporter who called in and stated that Debra's platform - her ideas, were a more compelling a reason to vote for her, over whatever reservations she may hold about the government's role in 9/11 was to vote against her.

And that's my [positive] spin. . .

Maybe there is hope yet for advocates of the message of liberty to organize market based enterprise solutions to spread the ideas of liberty.

Sure, but of all the questions to ask he asks that one? Did you notice the way he lowered his voice when he asked the question like she was guilty already? Glenn Beck is a waste of air.
 
I didn't like the way that ended up either, but you can't blame Beck for it. He asked her point blank and then told her that people will take that response as a yes and she didn't back away from it. It isn't his fault she is a truther, she admitted it right then and there on national radio, it couldn't be more obvious. You can't deny it. Beck's response to her admission of being a truther is exactly what his response always is to truthers, can't blame the man for having a hard stance against a position like that.

I'll vote for her anyway, it isn't that big a deal to me, I mean being a 9/11 truther is some messed up junk but I don't think she's totally nuts and I like her platform enough to vote for her in spite of one glaring flaw.

Anyway, how are people spinning it that she's a 9/11 truther - she said she didn't have a position on the issue.

I am not a truther, and I think I would have answered the question in the same manner. Questioning the government does not equal truther. I don't think her view is any different than Ron Paul's.

Actually, Beck equated agreeing with members of the 9-11 Commission that some things were kept from the American people, with our government actually carrying out the attacks.

They are not one in the same. But, he equated them anyway.

Debra needs money to fight this. She is practically out of money. HELP HER.

You can listen to it on page 11, I don't think it is spinning at all to say she's a truther. I suppose everyone can have their own take from it but to me that sort of an answer is a yes, just like Glenn Beck told her it was and she didn't change her answer.

Debra made a critical mistake in not answering the question forcefully. She's done.


She needs to issue a press release ASAP with a clear message distancing herself from trutherness if she wants any hope of salvaging her candidacy.
