Republicans have never been fully able to repel this wave of socialism, only temporarily halt these initiatives before they themselves gradually abandoned their obligation to the Constitution. Even in the supposed glory years with Reagan, many of these oppressive programs were not phased out. I fear the only way to stop these ideologues is an economic collapse. A repeal of these unconstitutional bills are not going to be accomplished through political means. They hold too much sway over the dumbed down masses. However, if the system falls under the duress of it's own increasingly burdensome weight and this maddening gravy train comes to a halt, these grievous crimes can be undone.
