haha - I see the appearance of new members as a very positive sign for This November 5th
RPFiG - At some point you are going to have to accept that your objections to this have been considered. Most of us see the value in a massive multi-bomb. While you make some good points, for many of us the debate is over. Now, we need to help the effort by helping Trevor vet candidates and heavily promoting. I was not a fan of the blimp at first, was even a bit miffed that it overshadowed
my RP ride and I had to spend thousands that I suspect I could have raised had the blimp not overshadowed
my project, but after a few attempts at voicing my objections I realized that the blimp was flying, no matter my opinion. At that point I stopped objecting and started promoting, even donating... In the end I think the earned media we got from the blimp, plus the sheer audacity factor, made the $600k money well spent and am glad to have been a part of it...
Trevor, I notice you started the process with one of the candidates that have been sending me requests. There are a few others I think would be very helpful to the cause, especially in regards to their large networks and promotional capabilities. I would appreciate a reply to my email regarding the other candidates mentioned, when you get a chance...
GO. GRASS. ROOTS!
edit - Trevor, it might be good to make the polls "public", usually cuts down on the frivolous voters...
