So let's see.
From grass-roots reports it sounds like almost 90% of the general population simply don't know who Ron Paul is.
However, he is polling 6% nationally.
Let's see how dangerous this statistic is...
Out of 100 people, 10 people may know of Ron Paul and his views, since 90% don't know who he is, right?
Now, if Ron Paul is polling 6% nationally, this would mean 6 of those 10 are going to vote for him / will vote for him.
In other words, upon hearing Ron Paul and his message 60% are sold and will VOTE for him, even though they know he has very little chance of winning.
Imagine if only half of America knew about Ron Paul: He would be polling @ 30%+ and HIGHER due to being perceived as more viable than he seems now.
Imagine if 100% of people heard of Ron Paul... you're talking a whopping 60% of the vote or more.
They will never lift this black-out and will do all they can to stop the other 90% of America discovering Ron Paul on their TV sets - 'cos that's when Ron would sweep it all and humiliate the establishment and all of their candidates.
If Ron can breakthrough and grace the other 90% of the population who don't even know who he is, he wins.
3 things spring to mind:
- 3rd Party
- Millions upon millions of dollars
- National prime-time spots
Look what Ross Perot accomplished and he was no Ron Paul.
Don't be suprised to see Ron announce 3rd party and then people with money fall over themselves to support his 3rd party bid financially. You won't find many millionaires or billionaires throwing their money away trying to get Ron the GOP nomination with all the dirty tricks and outright opposition to Ron Paul from the GOP.
With the funds behind him to expose himself to every American with the message, he WILL win.
It's all in the statistics.
Regards,
Pete
