Daily Paul Still Not Promoting the Money Bomb

The title of this thread is false. I'm not sure if it was true at any given moment, but I doubt it, because the thread on the front page promoting the money bomb seems to have been there for a while. Also, most Daily Paul users know that the bomb at the top means there is a money bomb and they can donate if they click it.

Ads for water filters and silver have more exposure. :/

People like me, who aren't regular visitors of the DP, would not see the bomb or know to click on it.

Then the appropriate title would be: The Daily Paul not promoting the money bomb they way I want them to promote it, not that they aren't promoting it. If you look, the thread about the money bomb has 135 likes. Not everybody "likes" a thread when they read it so that means a lot of people read it.

The bomb is the first thing I see.

Its good to raise money obviously, but the amount and frequency of MB's has diluted the effect that a bigger one would have. We have more support than in 07-08 but raise less on moneybombs because we have a new one every couple of weeks.

Oh, I missed that thread! I guess between the two of those I'll reluctantly cross the Daily Paul of my list of sites that have not promoted. But, I'm reluctant to send a thank-you notice when its more or less a difficult-to-see logo. I guess the people who frequent the site may notice it easier than what I imagine.

This was done mostly at the request of the campaign. In retrospect I think they made the right call on that.

I don't know where everyone was when we had the site ready to go with promo materials on Jan 23rd.

I all but flipped a lid on forums a couple days ago and it fell on deaf ears.

We don't do this work just have it sit on a domain and serve no purpose.

We made a point to have it ready much earlier with updated materials and avatars etc so just this sort of thing could be avoided.

That being said, people have picked it up recently.
