Rand Paul will you continue to vote in favor of sanctions?


I see no moral justification in voting yes on sanctions ,I do not care what the excuse is.
If so ,I really don't see how you will be of any difference from people who support the United Nations and furthermore abandon christian principles.

He was asked this question recently and just skirt-tailed it mostly about how sanctions despite what his father says are not a action on behalf of war... Ask him WHY - why was the announcement done the same day as Dr Paul's speech in Texas and what thing in common he thinks Team Romney and it's supporters have in common with Team Revolution. How can one go from supporting Dr Paul, only to later then endorse a campaing that doesn't promote sound economics, non-intervention foreign policy, more drug wars, NDAA and the killing of american civilians without even a warrant or right to trial. Those are the questions I need to hear answered.
 
I wouldn't even know what to ask him. Maybe no one should ask him anything. Let Wallace host the show and not get any participation whatsoever for this interview and see what sort of message it sends to Rand.

You know what's fucking stupid? No matter what Rand says, NO MATTER WHAT HE SAYS, this forum will erupt in 14,000 threads full of comments whining and crying and accusing him of being everything short of Hitler himself. All the while making ridiculous conclusions based off of emotional irrationalities. And all of you that do that should be ashamed of yourselves. I am truly ashamed of what has happened to this forum.
 
Heck why do the interview? Whats he going to say: He wants a do over and is not endorsing Mittens? No he's going to say that he's a republican, he wants to see republicans get elected because he thinks that republicans are better served in office then democrats particularly obama.

You're way over-dramatizing our positions. We have totally rational and logical reasons to not like him. He violates MAJOR principles of libertarianism. Excuse us for thinking it's okay to be for abortion or against it and simultaneously be libertarian (left libertarian vs right libertarian), but it's NEVER okay to vote for acts of war in violation of your oath of office and the Constitution. It's not emotional...the support for him is based on emotion, clearly.
 
I think he's doing it specifically to address the backlash he's been getting. His office answered the request rather quickly.

Some of the questions people are posting are about things in the Kokesh and AJ videos. I doubt there will be much more than the standard politician response to these, if they even try to ask at all.

Some are more focused on the 30-minute meeting he said he had with Mitt. These are probably what they will focus on.
 
He's not going to say $hit about that meeting other than it was pleasant and he agreed and disagreed with Romney on some points. Nothing we've already not heard. If Rand expected anything different then what he's received then his political strategists are significantly under informed.

That's a good question, along w the obvious questions about the endorsement. I will be tuning in tomorrow, I can't wait.
